Frankfurt - Paperworld is preparing itself for the future, appearing with an immediate facelift. In the process, Paperworld will be getting a new subtitle: The World of Office & Paper Products. For the first time, moreover, the product sections will be given their own attractive subvisuals, logos and new names. From now on Imaging will be called Paperworld Imaging, Scriptum will become Paperworld Scriptum and Creativeworld will be Paperworld Creative. Messe Frankfurt is expecting over 2,400 companies from home and abroad to present their product highlights at the world' s biggest trade fair for the national and international paper, office supplies and stationery trade.

Hong Kong - Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2013 was the first major trade fair to be staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the toys fair was in its 35th edition. According to the organiser the Toys Fair is actually the world' s second largest toys fair and the biggest in Asia. Last edition utilised 50,819 sqm gross exhibition area, attracted a total of 1,807 exhibitors (757 overseas exhibitors, 8% more than last time) from 35 countries and regions (+6%) and 25,785 buyers from 123 countries and regions.

Professional, Strong and International: That’s what the three letters in PSI have always stood for. But this time, Europe's largest trade show of the promotional products industry really reinforced the meaning behind its initials. That’s because PSI 2018 sent out the call, and even more international visitors from around the world came. Some 58 per cent of visitors travelled from outside Germany, one in seven of them from overseas. The sea of flags representing the participating nations at the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre was correspondingly colourful. Almost 90 countries showed their colours in Dusseldorf, turning the trade show into the centre of the promotional products world for three days. That’s a new record. With that, PSI set the tone for a dynamic start into the new business year. In total, organiser Reed Exhibitions Deutschland counted 925 exhibitors from 37 countries (prior year: 988) and 17,342 visitors (prior year: 18,094); among them were 1,200 industry customers, who, upon being invited by a distributor, had an opportunity to attend PSI on the last day of the event. With those results, PSI seamlessly built upon last year’s record-setting figures.

Promogift and Euroreclam + IFEMA and Reed Exhibition Iberia, the organisers of both these trade fairs, have reached an agreement in the interests of the industry, ensuring the successful staging of both events. This agreement also encompasses the two leading business associations within the field, AIMFAP, the Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Items, and FYVAR, the Association of Advertising Gift Manufacturers and Sellers. There are currently 347 manufacturers and wholesalers operating in Spain, as well as 5,000 distributors. Promogift (always in September) has consolidated its appeal over the last four years and is complemented by Exporeclam, the other event within this field, which will take place at IFEMA's facilities in February. The favourable climate that currently exists within the promotional and advertising gift industry justifies the existence of two fairs, events that seek to prepare professionals for the Christmas and springtime campaigns, respectively.
